Secure Collars

It seems to happen all the time: someone takes off with a new airplane and as soon as the model becomes airborne, it drops one of its wheels as if it were a model dive bomber! The reason is simple. The lock collar used to secure the wheels on the landing gear came loose. To make the set screw holding the collar in place really secure, use a file or a grinding bit to make a flat spot on the wire axle to seat the set screw and apply a tiny drop of thread-lock.
