BOTTOM LINE

The HobbyKing Navy Cub NE-1 was a lot of fun to assemble. It only took about nine to 10 hours of leisurely building. When finished, this aircraft came in around 16.5 lb. wet, including the larger tires. For a giant scale build, that’s not too bad. The fit and finish of the parts are well done. Given the scale look of this aircraft, adding more realism like weathering would only enhance the look. If you are looking at getting into a giant scale model with great looks and easy flight characteristics, this is the perfect platform.
