Boosalis became CEO of the large Ohio system in 2017. And over the past couple of years, Premier has launched a number of initiatives aimed at improving care and the bottom line. The results have been solid— 40% reduction in medical expenses for high-cost, high-need patients; 60% increase in pre-visit planning for primary-care appointments; $600 million growth in revenue, to name a few. In 2018, Boosalis started to address pay equity. She’s also leading a program on unconscious bias.
