Klibanski oversees $1.7 billion in annual research funding at the Boston-based system. She spearheaded an effort that will save $10 million annually in radiology programs and also created a funding effort for one of the nation’s largest biobanks. Klibanski created a scholarship program at Massachusetts General Hospital to help women researchers stay in the field when child care becomes an issue. She’s trained more than 50 post-doctoral fellows, most of whom are women.
