Howard Leight by Honeywell introduces a new hearing-protection system that incorporates many useful features. The new Impact Sports Bolt boasts a noise-reduction rating of MRR 22, which blocks continuous or impulse noises measuring 82 db or higher. Simultaneously, while those harsh and potentially damaging noises are being reduced, the sounds we want to hear, like human conversations or a deer walking through leaves, are amplified by up to five times. Each Impact Sports Bolt includes an in-line microphone and auxiliary connection cord permitting the Impact Sports Bolts to connect directly to ipod, MP3 or other devices. They’re available in various colors and include batteries, a belt clip and an extra set of ear-cup cushions. Impact Sports Bolts are available at leading sporting-goods dealerships like Dick’s Sporting Goods and Bass Pro Shops. MSRP: $120
