First Night Monterey 2023 poster contest winner announced

Matthew Lencioni, a CSUMB student from Santa Clara, will graduate this spring with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Design. He realized he wanted to pursue design after noticing it bridged his passions for art and psychology and his curiosity towards understanding humanity and how he can contribute to the human experience. When Matthew is not designing for school or a client, he enjoys cooking and hiking, as well as pursuing other forms of art like photography, poetry, and mixed media arts, which ultimately further inspires his designs. After graduation, he hopes to break into the UX Design field and/or continue with graphic design & marketing, eventually becoming a business owner.
