Volunteers are the key to making a difference in the lives of people facing Alzheimer’s and dementia. The Alzheimer’s Association offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, including training to help you grow your knowledge and skills. There’s a spot waiting for you on our volunteer team. Find the role that’s right for you.
Community Educator. Educate your community about Alzheimer’s and other dementia by delivering prepared presentations and answering questions.
Community Representative. Attend local community events, raise awareness of Association programs, provide basic information, and connect people with services.
Support Group Facilitator. Create a safe environment for caregivers to share their feelings and experiences., and connect them with Association recourses.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s Committee Member.
Tap into your passion for the cause when you volunteer with the world’s largest fundraiser to fight Alzheimer’s. Committee members play a key role in the success of each Walk to End Alzheimer’s event, from getting local companies involved to planning the logistics of event day.
We are looking for volunteers to help improve the lives of people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, their families, and caregivers. All program volunteers are fully supported with training, education and a close-knit community of fellow volunteers who share your drive to end this devastating disease.
