Sacred Heart blows out CPS; St. Louis falls to Hemlock

Have a day Gabe Ruggles. On Saturday the Sacred Heart Academy quarterbac­k ran for 247 yards and six touchdowns while completing 18-of-30 passes for 325 yards and two scores.

In all the senior signal caller accounted for 572 yards of offense and eight touchdowns in leading the Irish past Carsonvill­e Portsanila­c 72-36.

With the win SHA improves to 2-2 on the season.

Brady Gruss also had a solid game as he carried it 11 times for 55 yards and a score. He also converted three 2-point conversion­s. Connor Stempky caught four passes for 130 yards while Joe Mcdonald had seven catches for 107 yards and two TDS.

Jason Boge led the defense with 17 tackles and two sacks while Gruss had 16 tackles and Ruggles 12.

Hemlock 48, St. Louis 12

St. Louis had its unbeaten season come to a close Friday as it lost 48-12 at Hemlock.

With the loss the Sharks fall to 3-1 overall and to 1-1 in conference play.

dom Zanquo on an 80-yard score.

Giles completed 3-of-8 passes for 108 yards while Jackson had 79-yards rushing on 19 carries.

The Ashley 8-man football team fell to Bear Lake

66-28 Saturday.

Logan Drummond led the Bears with 68 yards passing and one touchdown pass.

He also had 13 tackles and rushed for 118 yards and a score.

Jordann Huntoon had one catch for a 35-yard TD while Dillan Beebe and Jon Snider both had rushing TDS.
