Museum has daytime New Year’s party in person, online

The Midland Center for the Arts will host an in-person and virtual family New Year’s Eve celebratio­ns starting at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31. Partyers will make festive glitter slime, decorate special party hats and create colorful fireworks. In-person guests can also view the Victorian Holidays exhibit. It’s all followed by a balloon drop at noon. In-person tickets are $10 children, $3 adults. Virtual participan­ts can pick up a celebratio­n kit for $10. Visit mcfta.org or call 989-631-8250.
