2022 ELECTIONS

During this midterm election year, all 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 34 of the 100 seats in the Senate will be held. Thirty-six gubernatorial and numerous other state and local elections will also be contested. This will be the first election affected by the redistricting that will follow the 2020 census.

Primaries: Texas kicks off the 2022 primary calendar on Tuesday, March 1. After that, things pick up again in May, with 12 states holding primaries. June (18 states) and August (16) are the busiest months. As each primary is held, a link will be available to live election results. General election: Tuesday, Nov. 8
