Snow Snake offers variety of fun winter activities
As the winter weather picks up, business has also picked up at Snow Snake Ski & Golf.
Snow Snake is a business in Harrison that offers multiple outdoor activities throughout the year. Skiing, snow boarding, snow tubing, golf, and zip lining among other activities are available at the hill.
During the 2020-2021 winter activity season, Snow Snake was able to continue to offer outdoor activities for patrons though some of their indoor amenities were unavailable due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With that in mind, outdoor seating and fire pits were available to guests.
“It was a good season,” Jann Cleary, one of the owners of Snow Snake, said. “Everyone wanted to get outside and it’s the same with this year.”
This year, Snow Snake had a slow start due to inconsis
tent weather conditions. However, with the colder weather, they’ve been able to continue making snow and will soon be opening tubing for the patrons.
“Everyone wants to go out and ski and hopefully now, everything will be open,” Cleary said.
The inside will fully be open during the 2021-2022 season and the outside will
still have seating and fire pits open for customers to utilize. Masks are optional for guests.
Snow Snake also has a brand new rental building and updated rental products.
“It’s a great place to learn to ski and we have free lessons for kids and adults on Sundays,” Cleary said.
