Library hosts true crime club, focuses on empathy

Veterans Memorial Library will host a meeting of the true crime book club at 6 p.m. Sun. Jan. 9. Talks about the fascinating, disturbing genre focus on empathizing with victims. This session will discuss Chanel Miller’s memoir about being a sexual assault survivor, “Know My Name.” Free. The library is located at 301 S. University Ave., Mt. Pleasant.
