O’SHAY, SANDRA LYNN

Sandra Lynn O’shay, age 79, of St. Louis, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Masonic Pathways in Alma. Sandra was born March 12, 1942 in Alma, the daughter of Forrest and Margaret (Brownridge) Holcomb. She graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1960 and then attended Northwood University and Ferris State University. Sandra married Danny O’shay on May 11, 1965 in Lansing. She was currently working at the Masonic Pathways in Alma for 51 years and held various jobs during her time there. When her family was younger, Sandra helped with Cub and Boy Scouts, was a member of the Lincoln Road United Methodist Church and enjoyed needle point, weaving and doing ceramics. She is survived by her husband, Danny, sons Philip (Brigitte) O’shay, Kelly (Rochelle) O’shay, 7 grandchildren and brother Joseph (Marcia) Holcomb. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Margaret. A memorial service will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 11 am at the Doig Chapel inside the Masonic Home, with Pastor Steve memorials may be made to the Elf Khurafen Children’s Hospitals or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
