DONATIONS NEEDED FOR NEW DISCOVERY EXHIBIT
'3, 2, 1...Blast Off!' STEM display features rocket ship climbing structure
Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum is in need of a few more donors to help completely fund their new exhibit.
The museum's upcoming exhibit is called ‘3, 2, 1…Blast Off!' It is a rocket ship climbing structure that also offers different STEM components like gravity, astronomy and space technology for fun and learning for kids.
Despite some setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic, fundraising efforts and construction on the project has continued.
Currently, Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum has raised over $200,000 and is looking for a few more donations to help completely fund the project.
“We have 20 Launch Level 1 sponsorships left to COMPLETELY fund our new exhibit: ‘3, 2, 1…Blast Off!'” A Mt. Pleasant Discovery Museum Facebook post said. “We need 20 donors to step up and get their name on our 3, 2, 1…Blast Off! donor wall by donating $1,000.”
