Saginaw celebrates Cinco de Mayo

La Union Civica Mexicana will present the 43rd Cinco de Mayo Festival from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at Jolt Credit Union Event Park, 300 Johnson

St., Saginaw. A parade will start at 10 a.m., with gates to the festival opening at 11 a.m. and festival performances beginning at noon. Featured performers will include Michael Salgado, Los Hermanos Villegas, Conjunto Champz, Culture Creators and Ballet Folklorico. Food vendors will be onsite along with inflatable toys for kids. Tickets are $5 for adults and children 5 and older. Tickets are $2 for ages 4 to 9 and free for children three and under. For more information, visit doweventcenter.com.
