It takes a village
To bring Best Driver’s Car to life, more than 40 people—editors, videographers, photographers, social media mavens, production assistants— piled into a handful of seven-passenger minivans and SUVS for crew transport. Then there’s the assorted box trucks and vans loaded with cameras and drones and supplies. It’s a massive logistical accomplishment, planned for months and carried out over two weeks.

We couldn’t make BDC happen without support from the California Highway Patrol in securing State Route 198, Monterey County in providing Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca for the event, the taxpaying citizens of Monterey, who helped subsidize our time at the track, and the folks from Honda/acura who helped feed us.
