In your article on the 1970 4-4-2 W-30 [“The P.R. Car,” Oct. 2018], on one page of the story you list the W-25 option as the Hurst Dual-Gate shifter. But farther down on that same page you list the W-25 option as the twin-nostril fiberglass hood. Did Olds really have two totally different options with the same W number?
Roy Duffield Good catch! We were right with the hood but off by one digit with the Dual-Gate shifter, which was option code W-26.
