PALS DO BETTER IN SECONDARY SCHOOL!
CHILDREN who begin secondary school with their best friends demonstrate better social and academic performance, a new study suggests. British researchers
evaluated 593 children in ten secondary schools in England, where children typically begin such schools at the age of 11. Those who kept their best buds did, on average, 13 percent better academically than those who didn’t. They also were less likely to exhibit poor behavior,
according to the study.
