GEORGE & AMAL $520 MILLION DIVORCE SHOCKER!

AFTER JUST FOUR YEARS, THEY’RE LEADING SEPARATE LIVES – SETTING UP CUSTODY WAR OVER TWINS

- NE

GEORGE CLOONEY’S glamorous wife, Amal, has moved out — as friends fear the power couple is headed for a $520 million divorce!

The two haven’t been photographed together since Aug. 11 — and sources said they’re battling nonstop over their twins!

“It seems like George and Amal are living separate lives these days,” an insider spilled to The National ENQUIRER. “The worry is that this could lead to an all-out divorce and custody war.”

In an ominous hint at their troubles, the pair failed to celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary together in September.

Instead, they were nearly 2,800 miles apart — with George partying in Los Angeles while Amal attended the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.

Then, the human rights lawyer, 40, skipped her 57-year-old hubby’s annual Casamigos Halloween party with business partner Rande Gerber in Las Vegas.

“People already thought it was weird they didn’t spend their anniversary together, and it definitely raised eyebrows when Amal missed George’s big party, while Rande’s wife, Cindy Crawford, was there,” tattled the insider.

“Now, there’s talk that a divorce could already be underway.”

With tensions escalating, Amal has fled the couple’s sprawling

English estate to find

“peace” in a rented flat in London, insiders said.

“Amal has been quietly staying away from their huge country mansion to give herself some space from the stresses of marriage and family life,” snitched a source.

“She’s taking a leaf out of the book of other Hollywood couples

who say the secret to their marriage is space.”

But pals fear the move is really a trial separation — and the headstrong pair could end up embroiled in a nasty child custody battle.

Both George and Amal adore their 17-month-old twins, Ella and Alexander, sources said — but raising the toddlers hasn’t been all fun and games. Weary dad George has confessed to being so tired he breaks down and cries “four times a day” out of exhaustion.

Insiders said the pair are also fighting over where to raise the twins, with George wanting to move back to the U.S. permanently, while Amal insists they raise the children in England.

“People think Amal will try to take the kids for herself,” dished the insider. “That would be George’s worst nightmare! They’re both besotted with Ella and Alexander.”

Sources are worried a custody war could become extremely bitter — just like George’s pal Brad Pitt’s with his estranged wife, Angelina Jolie.

The source added: “Amal could use her knowledge and pals in the legal community to get full custody of the twins. But George wouldn’t go down without a fight.

“He’s worth around $500 million and sold his tequila company, Casamigos, for close to $1 billion. He has enough money to hire the best lawyers in the world.”
