A NEW JERSEY woman is in deep doo-doo after authorities said they found 44 dead dogs stashed in freezers at her home — and another 162 living in disgusting conditions in and around her house of horrors! Donna Roberts, 65, of Shamong Township, is facing animal cruelty charges after police said they rescued dozens of filthy, fleainfested hounds from deplorable and inhumane conditions.”
Roberts, who’s been released pending a court date, dismissed the frozen corpses as stillborn puppies in cold storage.
“I forgot all about them. They were in a freezer. That’s what breeders do when dogs die,” Roberts barked. “They were born dead, and I didn’t kill them.”
