DOG’S BRAVE WIFE BETH IN FIGHT LIFE!

EMERGENCY SURGERY AS THROAT CANCER RETURNS

-

DUANE “Dog” Chapman is facing the toughest and most heartless thief he’s ever encountered — the cancer threatening to steal the life of his beloved wife, Beth!

The National ENQUIRER’s newest columnist was riding high after pulling off a dramatic career coup — rescuing Tiger Woods’ exmistress Jamie Jungers from a drug den after a tense seven-day mission in

Las Vegas.

Then TV’s gutsy “Dog the Bounty Hunter” got the telephone call that changed his life.

After 51-year-old Beth beat throat cancer in 2017, the

dreaded disease had returned!

Dog, 65, and his family celebrated Thanksgiving together before Beth underwent emergency surgery at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai hospital.

During the operation, a surgical team removed a cancerous lump from her throat to prevent it from closing her airway.

“Beth is as strong as a bull and they got most of the throat cancer out. But I think I’m in a bad dream and I need to wake up,” a shaken Dog told The ENQUIRER.

“People keep asking me, ‘Dog are you OK?’ But I’m not the one who’s sick!

“The first thing that Beth said when she woke up from the surgery was, ‘Where’s the Dog?’

“The nurse was confused. She said, ‘Did she bring her dog with her?’ and I said,

‘Yes ma’am.’ ”

Heartsick Dog kept vigil by his beloved Beth’s bedside, and at press time, the devoted couple were on tenterhooks awaiting test results to find out whether the cancer had spread.

“I’m here every moment I can be for Beth,” Dog told The ENQUIRER.

“I’ve never had to go through anything like this in my entire life!

“I told the doctors that I need to know the test results right away. They promised to give them to me the minute they’re available! “I love my honey so much! I don’t know what

I’m gonna do!

“Hopefully, the cancer hasn’t spread. Last time it didn’t spread at all, so we’re hoping for the same thing now.” Beth’s ordeal began in September 2017, when she was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer. During a 13hour surgery, doctors removed a tumor the size of a plum and her lymph nodes.

She was declared cancerfree in November and bounced back health-wise, crediting her comeback to her loving husband of 12 years.

“I’m grateful to have such an amazing and dedicated man as Duane,” she told

The ENQUIRER. “His love has gotten me over the humps and through this ordeal.”

In early 2018, Beth posted a picture of the scars on her neck and said it was “very hard to look at this in the mirror. It serves as a constant reminder of something I’d love to forget.”
