RFK JR. HUNTS DOWN HIS DAD’S REAL KILLER!

ANGRY SON DEMANDS PROBE INTO CIA COVER-UP!

ROBERT F. KENNEDY’S namesake son has uncovered the identity of the slain politician’s true assassin! The National ENQUIRER has learned RFK Jr. has discovered evidence a security guard at Los Angeles’ Ambassador hotel fired the kill shot into the back of his father’s head at point-blank range. RFK Jr. believes Thane Eugene Cesar and his father’s convicted assassin, Sirhan Sirhan, doubled up as a hit squad — and he’s demanding the LAPD open a new probe into the decades-old cover-up. “Compelling evidence suggests that Cesar murdered my father,” RFK

Jr. wrote on Instagram. “Police have never seriously investigated Cesar’s role in my father’s killing.”

Famed pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht agrees — and blasted the LAPD for sabotaging the probe into RFK’s assassination.

“The investigation was shoddy. The LAPD did not take Cesar’s gun and examine it,” said Wecht, a member of the Truth and Reconciliation Committee, a panel pushing for the government to reopen investigations into the assassinations of RFK and his brother John F. Kennedy.

Cesar was a plumber by trade whose day job was working at Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank, Calif.

But on June 5, 1968, he was moonlighting as an armed guard at the hotel where the senator, 42, was killed after winning the state’s Democratic presidential primary.

In his post, RFK Jr. spelled out how Cesar and Sirhan coordinated his father’s murder. “Cesar waited in the pantry as my father spoke in the ballroom, then grabbed my father by the elbow and guided him toward Sirhan,” RFK wrote. “Sirhan fired two shots toward my father before he was tackled. By his own

account, Cesar was directly behind my dad. Holding his right elbow with his own gun drawn when my dad fell backwards on top of him. Cesar repeatedly changed his story about when he exactly drew his weapon.”

RFK was hit with three bullets, including the fatal head wound. The autopsy report concluded he was shot from behind at point-blank range. Sirhan’s .22-caliber revolver held only eight rounds, but witnesses reported hearing at least 13 shots, and there were four bullet holes in a wall and a door frame behind Sirhan! Cesar also carried a .22-caliber revolver that night and passed a polygraph test in which he claimed he never fired his weapon.

Wecht is convinced Cesar fired the fatal shot. “Yes, I do believe he did it. Cesar killed Bobby Kennedy,” he said. “It looks to me it was a setup.” As The ENQUIRER has reported, dozens of witnesses claimed to have spotted another player in a possible setup: a “girl in a polka dot dress” seen fleeing moments after RFK was gunned down. She was identified as Patricia “Elayn” Neal, whose ex-hubby believes she was part of a “coup” to keep RFK out of the White House. Private eye Paul Huebl believes spy masters feared that if RFK were elected president, he’d gain access to top-secret files on his brother’s assassination. As The ENQUIRER has reported, that could have exposed the CIA and FBI’s involvement, including letting the second shooter in JFK’s killing slip out of the country. Lisa Pease, author of “A Lie Too Big to Fail: The Real History of the Assassination of Robert F. Kennedy,” has suggested CIA agent Robert Aime Maheu recruited Cesar as a hit man. RFK Jr. said he’d arranged to meet Cesar, but the plans were scuttled after Cesar demanded $25,000. Cesar died on Sept. 11 at 77 in the Philippines, taking his secrets to the grave.

Sirhan continues to insist he was framed and recently survived a bungled prison hit. Paul H. Schrade, RFK’s labor liaison, who stood behind

RFK and was hit with a bullet fired by Sirhan, is convinced there was another gunman. “It’s clear based upon the prosecution’s own evidence that Bobby Kennedy was shot three times by a second gunman,” said Schrade, 94. “Sirhan was never in a position to shoot Kennedy in the back, and they knew that!”
