LOVED-UP Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are set to face their longest time apart since becoming a couple in 2015 — and insiders said the separation is causing tension before it even starts! The pair will be apart for several months during Gwen’s residency in Las Vegas, while Blake hits the road on his national Friends and Heroes tour.
“It’s the first significant amount of time they’ve had apart in years, if ever, and the strain is already showing on their faces,” an insider snitched. “A lot of people around them wonder if their love can stand the test.
“They swear to anyone who’ll listen that the distance will only make their hearts grow fonder, but Blake is already having serious doubts about spending that much time apart!”

songbird Gwen, 50, leaned on Blake, 43, for emotional support early in their relationship. Blake helped Gwen through her divorce from rocker Gavin Rossdale and was also on hand for her kids, Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5. But the switch flipped as the years have gone by, according to sources. “Blake and Gwen spend almost every hour of the waking day together,” the insider snitched. “From the time they met on ‘The Voice’ to the time they spend with her kids, they’re rarely, if ever, apart. He’s become totally reliant on Gwen to the point of obsession! Blake starts thinking men are chasing after her if she’s gone for more than a few hours, let alone months!” As The National ENQUIRER has reported, the couple have been battling over everything from the design of their new L.A. mansion to her delay of a formal wedding ceremony until the Catholic Church grants her an annulment from Gavin. Friends said their impending separation — with Gwen on stage at Sin City’s Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino while Blake performs for screaming female fans on tour — could strain their relationship to the breaking point. “This will be their biggest test yet!” a source dished.
