REAL OUTLAW IN CRIME STAR HUNNAM’S LIFE!
GALPAL’S POT-SMUGGLING MOM WAS ON MOST WANTED LIST
CHARLIE HUNNAM plays a drug smuggler’s wingman in his new film, “The Gentlemen,” and he has real-life inspiration — his partner’s ganja gangster mom was once on the U.S. Marshal Service’s Most Wanted list!
Charlie, who did not respond to a request for comment, has been dating jewelry designer Morgana McNelis since 2005 — and her mom, Judy, was once busted for running a reputed $267 million a year international marijuana operation!
The FBI arrested Judy in the early 1980s, and she daringly escaped from the city jail in Valdosta, Ga., by cutting through the bars with a hacksaw before spending 18 months on the run!
She was the first woman to make it onto the U.S. Marshals’ 15 Most Wanted list and was eventually tracked down at a Florida hotel.
Judy pleaded guilty to drug trafficking in 1985. She spent eight years of her 20year sentence in prison. Morgana’s brother, David, 55, told The National ENQUIRER: “Our whole family was thrown into total chaos! It took mom years to rebuild her life. She’s still to this day somewhat of a rolling stone!”
Morgana herself was sentenced to two days in jail and three years’ probation for maintaining an unlawful marijuana operation after she and Judy were arrested in October 2009 at the Green Mile Caregivers dispensary in Los Angeles.
