AMERICA’S DIRTY CLERGY REVEALED!

-

ROMAN Catholic dioceses in Texas last year released the names of almost 300 priests credibly accused of child sex abuse. But the list was criticized as incomplete and out-of-date. “I am skeptical,” said Paul Petersen, a spokesman for the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests.

“I am not trying to make it bigger than it is, but I think the number 300 is crazy low.” According to Petersen, the lack of detailed information indicates the need for law enforcement agencies to investigate the history of clerical sex abuse in Texas.

“All of this is the fox guarding the henhouse,” he said.

REV. JAMES RAPP

THIS disturbed and defrocked priest was sentenced to 40 years behind bars for molesting two male students in Oklahoma in 1999 — 13 years after being identified as having a sexual attraction to young boys! James Rapp had already been accused of sexual abuse in Utah in the 1970s and admittedly had a history of “sexual contact” with several youths over a 20-year period when he was diagnosed at Maryland’s Saint Luke Institute in 1986.

“It is important that Father Rapp not be in the presence of youths,” Dr. Frank Valcour wrote in his report.

Rapp’s confession was not shared with authorities, and he was instead shipped off to California’s House of Affirmation Treatment Center. Shockingly, he was later assigned to a Catholic high school in Michigan, where he was accused of abusing two other boys in the 1980s.

One victim testified he’d reported Rapp’s abuse to the school’s principal, who told the boy to keep his mouth shut. Accuser Andy Russell said of Rapp in court, “He’s a monster.”

Rapp pleaded guilty in the Michigan case in 2016 and was ultimately sentenced to 20 to 40 years. Now 79, he remains jailed at the Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility.

REV. GUSTAVO DeJESUS CUELLO

TWISTED sex fiend

Gustavo DeJesus Cuello was sentenced to life in prison for repeatedly raping a 13-year-old altar girl in Texas in 2003 — but, incredibly, it took the Diocese of Tyler three more years to take away his collar!

Cuello was arrested in

1997 for the aggravated sexual abuse of the child he regularly assaulted for months in his office at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. The girl told investigators she had been victimized once or twice a week over a period of six to eight months.

When he was found guilty of his sick sins, Cuello went on the lam to his native Ecuador, where he was finally captured by the FBI six years later and brought back to face justice. When he was finally defrocked in 2006, the Rev. Gavin Vaverek — who’d called for Cuello’s dismissal — blamed the delay on a

“backlog” of cases at the Vatican.

As a result of his work related to the horrifying Cuello case, Vaverek was made a “promoter of justice” to review nationwide charges of clergy abuse.

Now 57, Cuello is behind bars at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice’s George Beto Unit, a maximumsecurity prison in the town of Palestine.
