STALKER-FEARING SELENA WANTS PANIC ROOM!

-

DOESN’T FEEL SAFE YET IN $5M FORTRESS ONCE OWNED BY TOM PETTY

POP princess Selena Gomez is outfitting her plush new digs with an ultra-secure panic room after enduring terrifying stalker scares, sources spilled.

The former Disney darling, 27, recently shelled out nearly $5 million to buy the late Tom Petty’s Encino estate, and insiders said she’s sparing no expense when it comes to safety!

Selena’s new California home boasts a recording studio and performance space. But sources said she’s added extra necessities, including 24-hour security patrols and indoor guards.

Though an insider explained the star initially thought installing a panic room was extreme, “she realized it would give her ultimate peace of mind” and considered it a “no-brainer.”

The “Come & Get It” singer is also ditching her cozy cottage-style pad in

Studio City after multiple 911 calls reporting trespassers led to a near constant police presence at the residence! According to records obtained by The National ENQUIRER, shortly after she bought the cottage, in 2017, she started asking for extra police

patrols because of a possible stalker. Frighteningly, before the end of that year, there was an attempted break-in!

Selena, who didn’t respond to a request for comment, has also experienced other disturbing incidents. In 2011, a judge dismissed a case against Thomas Brodnicki, who allegedly said he’d had conversations with God about killing her. Then three years later, Che Thomas Cruz was arrested for breaking into Selena’s guesthouse!

Explained the insider: “Selena has learned the hard way you can never be too security conscious.”
