JANE FONDA’S LESBIAN DREAM
WISHES SHE HAD LONG-LASTING LOVE LIKE GAY PAL LILY
UNLUCKY-IN-LOVE Jane Fonda is so fed up with men, she’s told pals she wishes she were gay like her close pal Lily Tomlin!
Lily, 80, is celebrating her 50th anniversary with partner Jane Wagner — and Fonda is crazy with jealousy!
“Jane told Lily she always wished for the stability of a great, long-lasting relationship,” a friend spilled.
Jane, 82, saw her marriages to film director Roger Vadim, politician and activist Tom Hayden and media mogul Ted Turner crumble, and has been solo since splitting from music producer boyfriend Richard Perry in 2017.
“The men in her life always seemed threatened by how independent and opinionated she was, so she felt like she had to tone it down, to be subservient,” the insider said. “Lily never had that problem. She and Wagner were writing partners and equals!”
Jane, who did not respond to a request for comment, and Lily go back 40 years to when they co-starred in the hit movie “9 to 5,” and are now returning for the seventh and final season of their Netflix comedy, “Grace and Frankie.”
“Jane admires what Lily has and wishes she had the same kind of love in her life,” the source dished. “Even if it meant she had to play for the other team!”
