DEAD SISTERS FOUND WITH BAGS OVER THEIR HEADS

-

Ttossed off a bridge with plastic bags tied over their heads — and police are on the hunt for their callous killers. The bodies of high school senior Vanita Richardson, 19, and Trevena Clarece Campbell, 31, were discovered under the Etowah Bridge near Rome in Floyd County.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent in Charge Brian Johnston said the siblings were “apparently dropped over the bridge.”

Their clothes were said to be “tattered” and spent shotgun casings were found near their corpses.

The medical examiner did not immediately release the cause of death, and police are still attempting to determine a motive. said investigators are working on a timeline of events as to where the women were last before they were killed “and then taken to where they were finally dumped so tragically.” Agents are also on the hunt for Vanita’s missing gold-colored 1997 Toyota Corolla, which may help them crack the case.

Meanwhile, the victims’ friends and family are devastated.

Trevena’s childhood friend

Kayla Dodson confessed she was “heartbroken.”

“Everybody is just sad.”
