MAHER & COLBERT’S FEUD AIN’T FUNNY!
THEY'RE liberal laugh legends but Bill Maher and Stephen Colbert can't stand each othe — and insiders said they don't need a camera running to batter each other wi punch lines! "Stephen thinks Bill is pompous and Bill thinks he's a smart-ass!" a sourc spilled. When Maher, 64, appeared on Colbert's "Late Show" in 2015 Stephen mockingly called Bill "doll" and Bill responded by calling Colbert "Steve," leading Stephen to say on the air: "Who the f--k is Steve? Are you my third-grade teacher?”
Stephen, 56, fired another shot when he hosted the 2017 Emmy Awards and joked about all the African-American nominees, saying: “And, of course, Bill Maher. I assume he’s black since he’s so comfortable using the N-word,” referring to a controversial comment Bill had made on his HBO show, “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
“People think it’s an act, but these guys really don’t like each other — even a little,” an insider dished.
