CHARLIZE THERON hates ex Sean Penn so much, she pretends he doesn’t even exist, sources snitched.
The “Bombshell” beauty, 44, dated the Hollywood hothead, 59, for a year and a half before calling it quits in 2015 — but in April 2019, she insisted she’d been single for a decade!
“She wants to forget about him and move on with her life,” an insider dished. “But he keeps coming around and asking her to get involved in his political initiatives. She wants no part of them — not now and not ever!”
Sources said Charlize is still feeling humiliated over appearing in “The Last Face,” a politically charged flop directed by Sean, which was booed when it premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2016.
The actress was also embarrassed by Sean’s publicity-seeking stunts, like doing an interview with Mexican drug lord Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, sources spilled.
“She looks at their chapter together as a big waste of time and the movie they made together as a massive mistake,” the insider said. “Sean will always be a self-centered blowhard to her.
She hates his guts with a passion!”
