TALK about a smart use for dummies! A restaurant in South Carolina is seating blow-up dolls at its tables to help enforce social distancing between diners.

Two months after being closed by the coronaviru­s pandemic, The Open Hearth in Taylors was allowed to reopen in May with a reduced capacity and six feet of space between patrons.

“Instead of using scary, yellow tape or roping off the empty tables, I thought, ‘We’re going to make this restaurant look full,' explained Paula Starr Melehes, who owns the eatery with her husband, Jimmy.

Now she said their unused seats are filled with the “G-rated” inflatable­s, earning this quirky solution a spot on the Odd List! NE
