UH-OH! DOLLY’S FACE IS FROZEN

SHOWS NEW SIGNS OF CRIPPLING CONDITION

-

DOLLY PARTON may never sing again! Last year, doctors concluded the 74-year-old Nashville legend’s face had been partially paralyzed by Bell’s palsy, sources said — and disturbing NEW evidence leads them to conclude it is worse than ever!

Sources told The National ENQUIRER the “9 to 5” singer’s face is again partially frozen, and medical experts have warned she also may have suffered a ministroke.

Two disturbing video messages the country queen appeared last month — in which she thanked the National Guard for heroic efforts battling the coronavirus and congratulated Tennessee college graduates — showed her barely able to move her lips and struggling to get her words out.

“Dolly’s face has never been this stiff,” said a source close to the singer. “She seems only to be able to speak out of the right side of her mouth and her right eye seems to be permanently squinted. “Everyone is fearing the worst for her!” Doctors who examined the videos confirmed that her friends’ concerns are well founded.

“It’s definitely noticeable — and clearly concerning!” said New York internist Dr. Stuart Fischer.

“The nerves in her face have clearly been affected by Bell’s palsy, and in some patients the condition may persist for years and even get worse over the course of life. It would affect her ability to control her lips, mouth words and sing — which would certainly adversely affect her career!”

Florida-based longevity specialist Dr. Gabe Mirkin agreed the muscles on the right side of Dolly’s face look like they have been paralyzed and believes the damage will NOT go away or ever improve. “She definitely has extremely weak muscles on the right side of her face and it is obvious when she speaks,” he said.

“Ninety percent of patients recover within a few weeks,” he added, but he did not believe this would be the case with Dolly — “since it’s been months since it was first noticed, meaning the effects are likely permanent!”

Dr. Fischer cautioned that the struggles that Dolly, who did not respond to a request for comment, displayed in the videos may also have been the

results of a ministroke.

“It’s often impossible for the average person to tell the difference,” he warned. “The paralysis in her face could be the result of a transient ischemic attack, or TIA, which is a ministroke where the patient generally recovers.

“Still, after it goes away, the arteries remain narrowed and there is always the risk that the next stroke will be more catastrophic and rob her of the ability to speak or sing at all — and in the worst-case scenario, even prove fatal!”

The doctors quoted in this story have not treated Dolly Parton.
