FOX firebrand Sean Hannity used the smarts that made him one of TV’s top-rated news talkers to work out an amicable divorce with his wife of 26 years — and keep his $250 million fortune out of the hands of greedy lawyers! That’s the word of sources, who said the savvy TV yakker, 58, and Jill Rhodes, 57, secretly split nearly five years ago and protected their assets by coming to a mutual agreement in a divorce that was finalized in 2019! “It was a genius move,” said New York attorney Peter Gleason, who was not involved in the case. “There was a lot of money involved, and if they had fought over it, the only ones who would benefit would be the lawyers — who would walk away with a huge chunk of it!”
Gleason called the crafty couple’s decision “a good business move.”
Sean, who did not respond to a request for comment, and Jill married in 1993 and have two children — Patrick, 21, and Merri Kelly, 18.
But insiders said the couple had drifted apart as workaholic Sean gradually became more married to his career. “It unfortunately broke his marriage,” spilled a source. Despite the divorce, the pair remain close and continue to be seen at events for their kids, and an insider added, “When they’re together you don’t even realize they split.” In a joint statement, Sean and Jill admitted, “Amicable agreements were entered into over four years ago” and said they’re “committed to working together” for the best interests of their children.
