Molossia measures 1.3 acres, has just one main street, 11 buildings and 33 citizens, who are all members of the extended Baugh clan.
Baugh, 57, founded Molossia in 1977 after watching the film “The Mouse That Roared,” about a tiny European nation that goes to war with the U.S. — and wins.
It is, however, not officially recognized by the United Nations or any major country. “My goal here is for everyone to live happy, fulfilling lives,” Baugh said.
