POLICE BOMBSHELL: $5M TIGER KING WILL WAS FORGED!
NEW FORGERY CLAIMS SPARK FIGHT OVER $5M
STHE will of “Tiger King” star Carole Baskin’s missing husband was forged, according to experts — raising more questions about his suspicious disappearance and potentially sparking a new fight over his $5 million fortune!
Don Lewis vanished in 1997, and his body was never found. No charges related to his disappearance have ever been brought against anyone.
Don was formally declared dead in 2002, and Carole, 59, has vigorously denied having any hand in his disappearance.
However, his missing persons case was reopened after “Tiger King” debuted on
Netflix in March. The docuseries detailed the feud between zoo owner Joe Exotic — real name Joseph MaldonadoPassage — and Carole, who he’s repeatedly accused of killing her husband.
Don’s substantial assets went to Carole, who fought in court to keep the cash from his former spouse and biological children.
Now Hillsborough County, Fla., Sheriff
Chad Chronister said two independent experts examined Don’s will and “deemed it 100 percent a forgery” and said his signature had been “traced” from Don’s 1991 marriage record to Carole!
Law sources pointed out Don’s family can’t currently contest the will because the statute of limitations has passed.
But since the release of “Tiger King,” the sheriff has been inundated with tips regarding Don’s disappearance!
A source said: “Carole is under the microscope. If she makes one tiny error, there are plenty of people who will swoop in and file a lawsuit.
“Nobody would be surprised if Don’s family is one of them.”
Meanwhile, Carole was recently awarded the Oklahoma zoo formerly run by Joe Exotic in a lawsuit against Greater Wynnewood Development Group, the company he used to run. Carole said she wished her Big Cat Rescue “could seek to obtain ownership” of the animals on the premises.
But the judge ordered the zoo’s current owner to relocate the critters, which are expected to move to the future Tiger King Park in Thackerville, Okla. However, Carole added she’s ready to aid in placement of the cats elsewhere, if needed.
Joe is currently serving a 22-year federal prison sentence for sending a hit man to kill Carole, although he’s attempting to appeal his conviction.
