The on-again-off-again couple decided to tie the knot after Heather’s 22-yearold daughter, Ava Sambora, graduated college in May, sources exclusively told

“Ava’s all grown up, but Heather’s maternal instincts are as strong as they’ve ever been,” an insider dished. As The ENQUIRER reported, the “Melrose Place” mess,
58, who’s long struggled with booze and prescription pill abuse, revealed on Instagram in April she’d reached the “one-year sober” mark. Heather spent 2019 bouncing in and out of rehab, breaking up and getting back together with Chris, 58, and narrowly avoiding jail! In August, she pleaded no contest to charges stemming from multiple arrests — including one for an alleged assault on an EMT responding to a domestic disturbance call at her California home.
The actress, who did not respond to a request for comment, was sentenced to 30 days in a residential mental health facility — but avoided 120 days in the slammer! “Heather’s got a whole new lease on life now that she’s sober and things are back on solid ground with Chris,” snitched an insider.
“They’ve been quietly talking to adoption lawyers and are very excited about being parents together.”
