BLACKFACE JIMMY FACING CAREER END!
JIMMY KIMMEL may not be coming back! The disgraced late-night talk host, who’s come under fire for performing in blackface in the past, has been taking time off for a summer “vacation”
— but sources insisted he may be gone for good.
Jimmy, 52, apologized after clips surfaced from his days on Comedy Central’s “The Man
Show” showing him in blackface.
Video was also unearthed of him making an insensitive joke after
Megan Fox, during a
2009 interview on his show, claimed she’d been sexually objectified by director Michael
“The comments and the blackface sketches were years ago and he’s deeply sorry,” an insider snitched. “But he believes this isn’t who he is anymore and thinks people should know that.”
ABC execs, however, are already seeking a replacement for the two-time Academy Award host, according to sources. Melissa McCarthy,
Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are contenders, “but the name that keeps coming up is Ryan Seacrest,” the insider dished. “He’s already under contract at ABC, and he’s always wanted to tackle late-night.” While network execs are waiting to see if advertisers will drop the show before pulling the plug on Jimmy, who didn’t respond to a request for comment, they may not get the chance.
“Jimmy feels like he’s being unfairly judged for a mistake that happened a long time ago,” a source dished.
