A CRUEL care­giver in New York beat a 100-year-old

WWII hero to death with a ham­mer af­ter the se­nior let her go from her po­si­tion be­cause of the coron­avirus pan­demic, au­thor­i­ties al­leged.

Ger­ald Early of Corn­ing hired Brenda Lee McKay,

51, in May 2019 to help him with house­hold chores, but his fam­ily said he axed her early in the out­break over fears

for his health.

Then weeks later, cops said, venge­ful McKay re­turned to the former Mer­chant Marine’s home to bash his brains in.

She was charged with se­cond-de­gree mur­der and is be­ing held with­out bail in Steuben County Jail.
