AWESOME! APPLE PEEL MAY BATTLE MS!

National Enquirer - - HEALTH WATCH -

AN APPLE a day may keep multiple sclerosis away. A chemical in the fruit’s peel has shown miraculous properties that could reverse damage caused by the condition! Researchers from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia gave paralyzed mice a compound of ursolic acid, which is what keeps apples looking shiny, and some of the mice were able to walk again. “It is encouraging to see a compound that both halts and repairs MS damage in the lab,” said study co-author Professor Guang-Xian Zhang. This discovery could revolutionize the treatment and outcome of MS, which attacks the central nervous system.
