TIGER KING Joe Exotic has been sprung from solitary confinement — because he may have contracted the deadly coronavirus! The eccentric Oklahoma zookeeper, 57 — real name Joe Maldonado-Passage — who is serving a 22-year sentence for animal abuse and a harebrained murderfor-hire scheme to kill his archnemesis, Carole Baskin, was released from Oklahoma’s Grady County Jail and moved into a medical unit in prison.

“I am in a real hospital bed with window,” he said in a statement posted by his reps on Instagram.

Joe’s release came just days after his husband, Dillon Passage, 22, revealed that he hasn’t been able to see his spouse because he’s been held in solitary for four months.

In early June, Joe wrote a pen pal describing how his soul “dies a little each day” and how his “heart will stop like an animal” while he’s locked up.

He also asked President Donald Trump to pardon him and “make the world smile during this pandemic.”

The former zookeeper was the focus of the hit Netflix docuseries “Tiger King” that premiered in March
