SHOW’S ‘CHARM’ WEARS OFF AMID SCANDALS & CAST EXITS
THINGS are going south for scandal-soaked, ratings-challenged reality show “Southern Charm.”
Insiders said the Bravo show, which has followed the lives of socialites in Charleston, S.C., for six seasons, is on the verge of cancellation!
Producers are considering booting Kathryn Dennis after a string of controversies, and three co-stars flew the coop!
The shake-up started in May when founding star Cameran Eubanks, 36, quit the show after Kathryn allegedly launched a rumor that her husband, Jason Wimberly, was having an affair with local makeup artist Rebecca Wash, who vehemently denied it.
Soon after, Cameran’s BFFs Naomie Olindo, 27, and Chelsea Meissner, 35, announced their departures, with Naomie complimenting Cameran, saying, “I’m so damn proud of you.” Last year, featured star Thomas Ravenel pleaded guilty to third-degree assault and battery, and had been fired from the show following his 2018 arrest. While a Bravo insider said the show was not in jeopardy, a source tattled: “Ratings are down, and this isn’t the best time to feature overprivileged Southern white people making fools of themselves. Bravo may have had enough.”
