DANNY MASTERSON SCIENTOLOGY SEX SHOCKER!
ACCUSED RAPIST ON PODIUM AT FUNDRAISER FIGHTING ABUSE
SCIENTOLOGIST Danny Masterson attended an event to combat sexual exploitation at a church-sponsored event years after the religion’s leaders were told he’d been accused of rape, sources told The National ENQUIRER! With the actor facing up to life in prison after recently being charged with three counts of rape, sources have told The ENQUIRER church officials allegedly brushed off two female Scientologists who reported he’d sexually assaulted them!
“This is an alleged predator who was presented as a humanitarian!” Scientology critic Jeffrey Augustine said.
Chrissie Carnell Bixler claimed she told Scientology leaders Masterson, now 44, raped her between January and November 2001. At the time, she was 23 and dating the former “That ’70s Show” star.
In a published statement, she said a church ethics officer told her: “Danny Masterson is a celebrity. He flourishes and prospers in life. You protect that and reward that.”
Another woman has claimed the actor raped her in April 2003. She reported the incident to Los Angeles police in 2004, but after numerous affidavits from Scientology countering her claims, cops stopped the investigation. However, the probe was reopened in 2017.
Despite the scandal, Masterson appeared at the church-sponsored Human Rights Hero Awards in L.A. in March 2014.
The event was produced and hosted by the Foundation for a Slavery Free World and Youth for Human Rights International, which sources said is linked to the church. Masterson spoke
from the podium at the event, promoted as raising awareness about
“the commercial sexual exploitation of children.”
He also appeared at a Scientology fundraiser for the
LAPD Police Athletic
League’s youth programs at its
Celebrity Centre in
December 2013.
Scientology responded to The
ENQUIRER saying the church sponsors thousands of charity events worldwide to
“combat drug abuse, increase morals and to end racism.”
In addition to the criminal charges,
Masterson and the
Church of Scientology have been slapped with a civil lawsuit accusing them of harassing Chrissie, her husband, and three other women after they went to police about the rape allegations.
Both Scientology and Masterson deny all the civil charges. A lawyer for Masterson has denied the rape charges against him and insists he will be cleared in court. Scientology officials said the church does not comment on pending criminal actions.
