The “Pirates of the Caribbean” hunk, 43, was caught on camera getting hot and heavy with the 27-year-old former Disney kid in a Las Vegas club in 2016, early in his first goaround with Katy.
He and Katy, 35, split up the following year and reunited in 2018 — but his fling with the “Come & Get It” songbird remained a sore point, according to insiders.
“Katy was never comfortable with his friendship with Selena, but it was Orlando who cut the cord without any prodding!” a source spilled. “Orlando’s a different person from the shameless flirt he was before Katy got pregnant, and he wanted to make this gesture because he wanted to show her he’s fully committed to their relationship.”
While he and Selena never really became an item, sources said they’ve remained flirty. “Now he’s ignoring her calls and texts after politely explaining that it’s inappropriate for them to communicate — even as friends,” snitched a source. “He just doesn’t do that anymore!” Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and Selena Gomez did not respond to requests for comment.
