NINJA BEHEADS TECH TYCOON!

cash instead of turning him in. Officials said Haspil instead dressed up like a ninja and fatally ambushed his boss in his home — then decapitated and dismembered him with a power saw he bought with Fahim’s own credit card!

“This was an act of charity that turned into an act of murder,” a source said.

Born to Bangladeshi parents in Saudi Arabia and raised in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., Fahim was the CEO of Gokada — a motorbike ride-hail company in Nigeria, which launched in 2018 — and a longtime pal called him the “Elon Musk of the developing world.”

Haspil was hauled in for Fahim’s murder after cops said surveillance video capturing the alleged killer following Fahim into his Big Apple building provided “overwhelming evidence” the assistant had slain his boss! “This guy is the new ‘American Psycho’ — only dumber,” one law enforcement source said.

In addition to allowing security cameras to capture the attack, hapless Haspil also dropped his ID during his struggle with the tech whiz, authorities said.

A day after Fahim’s death, video surveillance showed Haspil purchasing cleaning supplies and an electric saw at a hardware store, according to a criminal complaint.

Then, the day after that, police said cameras captured him returning to the building to clean up his handiwork! According to investigators, Haspil was literally almost caught red-handed at the murder scene when the victim’s cousin rang the apartment’s buzzer. They said the killer was forced to flee out a back stairway — leaving behind the saw and bloody trash bags filled with Fahim’s hacked body parts! Authorities said additional surveillance footage later showed Haspil and a galpal shopping in Manhattan’s well-heeled Noho district, where he’d rented a plush $18,000-a-month Airbnb pad.

But the next morning, at least a dozen cops converged on Haspil’s highpriced hideaway and busted the suspected butcher! Despite the mountain of apparent evidence against Haspil, his attorneys released the statement: “We urge the public to keep an open mind. There is much more to this narrative than the accusations.”

Haspil pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder and is being held without bail.
