SULTRY screen siren Angelina Jolie has sworn off sex, insiders spilled. Sources close to the “Maleficent” movie witch exclusively told The National ENQUIRER Angie’s been celibate since her bitter split from Brad Pitt nearly four years ago — and doesn’t care to date again!
What’s more, the 45-yearold star, who steamed up the screen in such flicks as “Gia” and “Original Sin,” has said there will be no more spicy acting roles for her either, pals dished.
“Angie has put that part of her life behind her,” an insider snitched.
“Menopause, a cancer scare and a double mastectomy have left her with little or no interest in sex — and her brutal breakup with Brad killed whatever desire she had left!”
Angie wrote about her decision to have her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in 2015 — just two years after undergoing a double mastectomy — due to her genetic risk of developing cancer.
The star’s mom, Marcheline Bertrand, was only 56 when she died of ovarian cancer in 2007. Angie’s 2015 surgery immediately put her into early menopause - but she claimed to “love” it!
“I feel older, and I feel settled,” she said. “I feel happy that I’ve grown up.” Dr. Gabe Mirkin — a longevity expert who has not treated Jolie — said a decreased sex drive should come as no surprise. “Angelina had her ovaries removed because she has the BRCA1 gene that markedly increases the risk for breast cancer,” he said. “However, removing estrogen reduces libido.”
While the procedures radically reduced her risk of developing certain cancers, sources said they also demolished her sex drive.
“All of the surgeries may have ultimately saved her life — but it certainly left
her feeling less sensual,” the insider spilled.
And, the source added, that contributed to the unraveling of her marriage with Brad. “They argued about everything, and when sex became less of a priority, the differences between them amplified enormously,” the insider dished.
As The ENQUIRER reported, the couple split in September 2016 and remain locked in an ugly custody battle over their five non-adult children — Pax, 16, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and 12-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Angie has admitted to a troubled history with sex — dating back to when she lost her virginity at just 14!
“I had started having sex with my boyfriend, and the sex and the emotions didn’t feel enough,” she said.
Angie also copped to having a lesbian relationship with her “Foxfire” co-star Jenny Shimizu in the 1990s — not long after she’d married her first husband, “Elementary” star Jonny Lee Miller.
“I fell in love with her the first second I saw her,” Angie revealed. “I probably would have married Jenny Shimizu if I hadn’t married my husband.” The source also said Angie’s indifference to intimacy was influenced by her mom’s troubled marriage to her dad, Oscar winner Jon Voight.
“She loved her mom and wasn’t thrilled by the way he treated her,” the source spilled. “Winding up in a loveless marriage was nothing new to her.”
