In a fit of regal rage over a bombshell new biography detailing the couple’s flight to freedom, Queen Elizabeth informed the demanding Duchess of Sussex she was no longer part of the House of Windsor, The National ENQUIRER has learned.
“Her Majesty ordered Meghan banned for life!” a high-level palace courtier revealed exclusively.
“But NOT Harry! The monarch made it clear Harry and his year-old son, Archie, are welcome any time — alone!”
Sources said the recently published book was the ultimate betrayal — and the last straw — for the Sussexes, with the queen blaming Meghan.
“Royals never air their dirty laundry in public, but some very private family matters have been exposed, seemingly with Harry and Meghan’s blessing,” dished the courtier.
“The vicious attacks against senior royals, including Her Majesty herself, are sickening. “And no matter how much Harry and Meghan deny it, several specific incidents can’t have come from anyone but them, directly or through friends. “Queen Elizabeth bent over backwards to welcome
Meghan, and then accommodate the newlyweds’ demands for an independent life away from royal rules. “She even offered to allow them to return after a year if they changed their minds about quitting.

The biography, “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family,” by journalists Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, has been dubbed “the gospel according to Harry and Meghan.”
“If this was meant to set the record straight from the Sussexes’ point of view, it’s only opened old wounds at a time when everyone else wanted to move on — especially in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic,” said a source. “This selfcentered pair, led by Meghan, seems to be fighting invisible enemies everywhere.
There’s no concern for how they’ve hurt the royal family, especially the queen.
“What they’ve done is unforgivable!”
In the book, Harry
and Meghan’s wrath spares no one, said sources.
“William’s accused of being a snob for urging Harry to go slow in his romance with Meghan,” noted an insider. “Harry took it as an attack on Meghan being an American, a divorcée and biracial. But William was just trying to make sure his headstrong brother was not blinded by lust!
“As it turns out, William’s instincts were right! The book reveals Harry was determined to marry Meghan after their third date!
“William’s wife, Kate, is attacked for not taking Meghan under her wing and showing her the ropes when she joined the royal family. “But Kate rolled out the red carpet, inviting the couple for dinner where she personally cooked vegan meals for her future sister-in-law. She threw a pre-wedding party for Meghan and took her to Wimbledon two years in a row. “She even sent flowers as a peace offering to smooth over an early rift. But Meghan told her ‘in no uncertain terms’ it wasn’t enough!”
According to the book,
Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, were outraged at the queen when no photo of them and Archie was displayed during her national speech last Christmas.
“They felt snubbed — although they’d already decam ed to Can da, refusing the queen’s holiday invitation!” said a source.
“Meghan claimed ‘vipers’ in the palace were out to get her. But she and Harry were more focused on promoting their own agendas than the monarchy’s interests, and she refused to listen to staffers’ advice. She acted like a spoiled brat.”
Her Majesty lays the blame for the book squarely on the former “Suits” star, said another palace insider. “Meghan is an ambitious self-promoter who admits tipping off photographers and placing stories in the press to further her career,” dished the source. “Using this book to get public sympathy while claiming the palace was against her seems like Meghan’s usual modus operandi. But it’s backfired big-time.”
After consulting with heirs to the throne Prince Charles, 71, and Prince William, 38, the 94-year-old monarch made the shocking decision to ditch the duchess, said a senior palace staffer.
“Her Majesty is heartbroken Harry’s fallen under Meghan’s spell and went along with her plan to quit royal life so she could become queen of Hollywood,” said the insider. “I’m told that since Meghan seemed hell-bent on destroying all royal relationships, the queen considered her a threat to the monarchy’s future.
“She ordered a video conference where she bluntly told Harry’s wife, ‘You are not family!’
“Meghan’s persistent betrayals meant she was banned from ever returning — even to the couple’s British home, Frogmore Cottage. But Harry and Archie can come back at any time!
