NEIGHBORS’ FEUD SNOWBALLS INTO TRIPLE KILLING!
ASQUABBLE over snow in Pennsylvania ended with three people dead. Prosecutors said the violence exploded in Plains Township on Feb. 1 when James Goy, 50, and Lisa Goy, 48, began dumping snow in their neighbor Jeffrey Spaide’s yard while clearing their cars.
Spaide, 47, asked them to stop, and surveillance video showed the Goys yelling obscenities at him. As the Goys continued cursing, Spaide went back into his house.
Within moments, Spaide walked out of his home, holding a pistol.
Despite that, the Goys continued shouting at him and seemed to challenge him to shoot, with Lisa yelling, “Go ahead! Go ahead!”
Spaide fired multiple rounds at close range, striking both Goys, who collapsed on the snowy ground.
Spaide went back into his house, emerged with an AR-15 style rifle and shot the Goys again, killing both of them where they lay.
As he pulled the trigger, he told Lisa, “You should have kept your mouth shut.” Spaide went back home and shot himself dead as Plains Township cops arrived, prosecutors said.
The Goys, who left behind a 15-year-old autistic son, and Spaide had a history of disputes, police said. Prosecutors ruled the triple shooting a murder-suicide and closed the case.
