CONTROL freak Jennifer Lopez has turned fiancé Alex Rodriguez into her obedient lapdog, insiders claimed, after yet another monkey wrench ruffled their romance.
The showbiz mogul, 51, has been fuming over rumors the former Yankees stud, 45, cheated on her with “Southern Charm” hottie Madison LeCroy, despite his claims they’ve never met, The National ENQUIRER has learned. “Jennifer has basically grounded Alex at home to do her bidding 24/7. With lockdown still in place he’s got nowhere to go!” said an insider. The couple, together since 2017, bought a $32.5 million mansion on exclusive Star Island in Miami Beach last summer. “Some might say Alex doesn’t have it too bad, living in a virtual palace with palm trees and an Olympic-size pool, plus the ocean a few steps away, but that’s where the dream ends — for him, at least,” tattled the source. “Jennifer’s made it clear: Both their names may be on the deed, but this is her house, her rules. She controls the meals and the times they eat.
“She’s got the TV remote and usually they watch what she wants. If it’s not her show, ‘World of Dance,’ it might be something else she’s in, and he better not nod off or she’s likely to nudge him. “She dictates the fragrance Alex wears and more times than not it’s Deseo for Men by Jennifer Lopez. She decides everything to do with color scheme whether it’s home décor or what they wear around the house.
“The cheating rumors didn’t do their relationship any good, but this has less to do with trust and more to do with Jennifer being a narcissistic control freak! “Alex may not like everything about it but he’s going along with it now."
As The ENQUIRER has reported, sources said Jennifer’s self-obsession has friends keeping their distance, which means the couple is spending more time together.
“Truth is, Alex enjoys the luxurious lifestyle and the fine clothes Jennifer lays out for him. He’s even gotten a tad lazy about making his own decisions,” added the insider.
“It’s easier to do as he’s told than put up a stink, and after this Madison business he doesn’t want to cause any friction with Jennifer.”
