KILLER dad Chris Watts has a new cell buddy — another convicted child killer!
The family murderer — who admitted killing daughters Cece, 3, and Bella, 4, pregnant wife Shanann and their unborn son in 2018 — now bunks with Marcus “MJ” Johnson, who’s serving 40 years for scalding his girlfriend’s threeyear-old son to death.
The evil pair share a sixby eight-foot cell at Dodge Correctional institution in Wisconsin.
“MJ and Chris get on real well and they look out for each other. Chris sleeps on the bottom bunk, MJ on the top,” revealed former inmate David Carter, who was housed across from them.
“Chris gets a lot of death threats from other prisoners and so does MJ. So they weren’t able to put either of them in with just anyone.” Watts, 35, slaughtered his family in August 2018 after starting an affair with another woman and planning a new life with her.
He strangled Shanann after she returned to their Colorado home from a business trip and then their girls, whose bodies he stuffed into oil tanks. Neighbors noticed something was amiss and alerted authorities. Within weeks Watts was arrested and confessed his crimes.
His cellmate, Johnson,
33, had dipped little Hunter Wise into a bath of hot water in 2013, as punishment for defecating in his pants, causing his death.
Despite Watts’ monstrous acts, Carter said the brute gets ten to 20 pieces of fan mail a day.
“He gets letters from people wanting to marry him, strangers who don’t even know him personally,” said Carter.
Since admitting his crimes and being moved to Wisconsin for his own safety, Watts has become a devout Christian.
“He’s not working on an appeal. He’s committed to serving his time,” added an insider.
“He knows he’s not getting out of prison. He’s accepted it and so has his family.”
