As National ENQUIRER readers know, the couple — who tied the knot in 2008 — has weathered the demise of Ellen’s daytime talk show after allegations she presided over a toxic workplace, along with Portia’s frightening emergency appendicitis surgery. Now, sources said, they want to bounce back by reconfirming their commitment to each other!
“This has been a tough year for everyone, but Ellen and Portia have had more than their share of problems,” an insider snitched. Sources spilled that Ellen’s unprecedented fall from grace as the former “Queen of Nice” somehow brought them closer! “Portia has been Ellen’s rock,” dished an insider. “And when Portia woke up in excruciating pain from her inflamed appendix, Ellen took her to the hospital and stood by her side through surgery to let her know she would be waiting for her!”
Insiders said they want a simple vowrenewal service and a honeymoon later this year.
